The Amazing Secrets
Stop you smoking in just one session
Boost your disposable income
Rocket your health
And greatly improve your personal life
Are you a social, pleasure or stress smoker, or is it now just a habit?
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to become a non-smoker? Have you ever tried to give it up but yet somehow found yourself lighting up again?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then keep reading, as this could be one of the most important messages you will ever read.
By now, virtually everyone acknowledges the risk of cancer from smoking, although few people recognise the full range of problems; from premature ageing; wrinkling and leathery skin to heart disease and reduced circulation leading to amputation- and even impotence.
- On average, each cigarette shortens a person’s life by 13 and a half minutes
(Is the 'pleasure' really worth all that much?)
- About 120,000 people in the UK have died so far each year from smoking related illnesses. 20% of all deaths
- 50% of continuing smokers will die because of their habit
- More people have died each year from smoking than from
Drug addiction, AIDS, Traffic accidents and Breast cancer
All added together!
- At current prices, an average smoker will spend well over £100,000 in a lifetime on cigarettes
It’s your life. In a month’s time, you could be only a bit older, with only slightly worse health, though having spent yet another chunk of your valuable income on cigarettes. A pack-a-day habit sends around £2,500 per year up in smoke. The financial, health and social costs of smoking don’t usually grab your attention until someone points them out.
Ask yourself “What would it be worth to me if I could stop smoking in one session and as a result, not just save £1000s a year, but greatly boost my health, fitness and self respect?” As you continue to read this with a natural growing fascination, you may quickly realise how good it would be to book an appointment. Before you phone however, consider all the benefits to yourself as I outline some details.
It’s Easier Than You Think
Even though 70% to 90% of smokers would really like to quit the habit, very few of them really realise how easy it can be to stop smoking happily, easily and without cravings or any significant weight gain.
In 1993 the New Scientist stated that: “(Ordinary) Hypnosis (with a 36% success rate) is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit.” (Chockalingam and Schmidt 1992)
However some highly specialised and very extended hypnotherapy programmes in the past have produced success rates of 88 to 94% (Kline 1970 & Von Dedenroth 1968)
Until 2002, by using the new psychological science of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) on its own, I had been achieving around 70 to 80% success- Without Hypnosis! This was before I came across
The Phoenix System which combines the very best of Hypnosis and NLP to achieve a staggering success rate of 95% in just one session. (O’Driscoll 2000)
These figures compare with
Nicotine Gum 11% to 13% and
Nicotine Patches 13% to 16%
(Law & Tang 1995 & Chockalingam and Schmidt 1992)
(Around 360 practitioners were trained and licenced in the Phoenix System in 2002. This was before the Lincolnshire NHS stop smoking service or the 'national smoking cessation institute' (actually a private practice in Brighton) started using the name. Sadly, few of the original practitioners now use the name.)
Having now applied the principles of the Phoenix System back into NLP, I am now able to stop virtually anyone from smoking - With or Without Hypnosis.
Even if you have tried to stop many times before, whether with will power, patches or gum, or even with Hypnosis and even if you have been turned down by other practitioners, I can almost certainly help you to stop smoking, just so long as you really want to.
In fact I am so confident of success that in the unlikely event of someone smoking again within two years, all they have to do is call me for a back up session- absolutely FREE.
Now, it is normally emphasised that you must really want to stop smoking for yourself, (not your doctor or your partner, or anyone else) before you commit yourself and book an appointment. After all, Hypnosis and NLP can produce fantastic results but they can not make people do anything unless they really want to do. However, if you are honest with yourself, you know that the only things keeping anyone from stopping smoking are the fear of so called withdrawal symptoms or the loss of an emotional crutch. These things are very easily dealt with if you want to pluck up the courage and Go for it!
Since the British Medical Association (BMA) and the American Medical Association (AMA) approved the use of clinical hypnosis in the 1950s, thousands of people, including Matt Damon, Kevin Costner and Drew Barrymore have found hypnosis to be an effective way to stop smoking. Many others including Albert Einstein, Henry Ford, Winston Churchill and Sir Richard Branson have used it to enhance their lives in other ways.
Though it has been misunderstood by many people, it is now used extensively in medicine, dentistry, professional sports and education.
Our minds work on two levels: the conscious and the unconscious. We make decisions with our conscious mind. The unconscious mind controls our habits.
Either by using NLP, or in the relaxed state known as hypnosis, you can communicate directly with your unconscious mind. This is why it is so quick and easy to change the habits of a lifetime with these methods.
Safe and In Control
Most people cannot tell the difference between hypnosis and the waking state. Hypnosis is a natural state very similar to daydreaming or reading a very good book. Some people feel a lightness, others feel very relaxed or a bit heavy. One thing that people do notice is an inexplicable positive change in their daily behaviours.
Hypnosis is also completely safe. You are fully aware and in control at every moment and can stop the session at any time. Hypnosis is not sleep, nor can you get ‘stuck’ in hypnosis. You certainly can’t be made to do anything against your will. It is a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable experience.
Any well balanced, reasonably intelligent person can be hypnotised, so long as they really want to be. So for instance, stage and TV hypnotists like Paul McKenna are not testing to find who can be hypnotised: anyone can if they want. They are testing for the very keenest people, who really want to take part. They are also testing for those who are willing to follow the instructions. Paul knows that if you are willing to just follow the instructions, you will be able to access the vast wisdom and fantastic abilities of your unconscious mind far more effectively.
For anyone who would still rather not be hypnotised, unlike most of my competitors, I am able to stop almost anyone from smoking by using NLP on its own.
This new psychology of understanding human thinking, motivation and peak performance- teaches you how to be in control of your own mind.
It has all the advantages of hypnosis, though it sometimes takes a bit longer. I tailor my sessions to each client’s needs to achieve exceptional success rates, helping even very heavy smokers to free themselves from the habit.
Dispelling The Addiction Myth
Contrary to common belief, the scientific evidence for nicotine being addictive is very shaky. Of all the scientists who produced a recent 600 page report for the US Government on Smoking and Tobacco, NOT ONE of them would commit themselves to saying nicotine was chemically addictive! Which is rather interesting, is it not.
In fact the only people who have benefited from this cruel myth have been the Tobacco companies, the Taxman and - the Drug companies.
If nicotine was so addictive:
- Why is no one addicted to the patches?
- Why are there not adolescents, trying to pass themselves off as old enough to get patches in the chemists?
- Why are there not clinics up and down the country, to get people off the nicotine in the patches?
- Why do some people apparently only need patches while they are awake? - Is nicotine not addictive in the dark?
It makes no sense.
So what we are left with is just a habit.
When you come to see me, I will explain the real reasons why you were still smoking, and enable you to stop the deadly cycle.
I Transfer the Pleasure
One of the reasons that it’s so easy to stop smoking when you book an appointment and visit me, is because any pleasure that you once got from smoking will be transferred to feeling even better that you have stopped smoking!
This means that you are immunised from future temptations. People can blow smoke in your face if they want, and you will merely shrug.
It also means you can easily avoid unwanted weight gain and other problems that were once associated with beating the habit. The only side effects are an increase in health, wealth, energy, happiness and freedom- and sometimes, surprising positive changes in other areas of your life.
So because you do want to stop the smoking habit now, these methods offer you the best ways to become a permanent non-smoker in comfort, leaving you without any cravings.
With over 20 years in practice in Plymouth, David Owen is probably the longest standing NLP and Hypnotherapy practitioner in the area.
As well as his training in the Phoenix System, he has had extensive training in Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as three other major trainings in Hypnosis.
He has also undergone Ten major trainings in NLP and is now personally trained and licensed by Dr Richard Bandler, the originator of NLP and by TV Hypnotist Paul McKenna (one of the world’s leading NLP Master Trainers) as an NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer.
In fact he has assisted both Paul and Richard on many of their trainings.
This makes him one of the most experienced and highly qualified practitioners in the whole of Devon and Cornwall, which means that if anyone can help you, he can!
Here is my guarantee to you:
In the unlikely event that you ever started smoking again, whether in two days or even up to two years down the road, all you have to do is give me a call and I will get you back off the habit at no extra charge.
Even after two years, the system is so effective that I can often get someone back off the habit with just a free phone call. Alternately, I am happy to make another appointment at greatly reduced cost.
This means you can book in confidence, knowing you will reliably become a happy, comfortable, relaxed non smoker - for Life! - For Good!
It’s Your Choice
Smokers these days are suffering from a barrage of rules, from being told what to do and from being treated as outcasts.
While it is understandable that non smokers, such as you are probably about to become, want to be able to breathe clean air, I want to make it clear that I have no personal objection whatsoever to people smoking. I also smoked once and I understand what smokers have to go through.
However I never never miss it now, it is as if I never smoked.
So if you are truly ready to stop now, then I can make it far easier and more enjoyable for you as a non-smoker.
A New You
Once you have stopped, according to a report to the US Surgeon General in 1990, the moment you stop smoking, things start to improve:-
- After only 20 minutes, your blood pressure and pulse will be normal
- After one day, the carbon monoxide will be gone from your body
- 2 days and the nicotine will have gone
- 3 days and your bronchial tubes will begin to relax
- During the next 3 months, your circulation will improve
- At 9 months, your lungs will have gained up to an extra 10% capacity
- At only one year, the risk of a heart attack will have fallen to half of that of a smoker
- And at ten years, not only will you have saved around £20,000, the risk of cancer will have dropped to half of that of a smoker and the risk of a heart attack will have dropped to being as low as if you had never smoked
However, book NOW, and become free from that old habit, as the sooner you stop, the happier you will be! You will enhance your health, appearance, well being, energy, enjoyment and self respect - and preserve and extend your life.
